Problem in sex?

I'm wondering (not by simple curiosity, but for me ;-): when you have phimosis from birth, how easy is it to make sex? Would it be painful if during the penetration the foreskin was pulled behind? Is circumsicion the best possible way of treatment? Thanx a lot!
