Hi Robin:

Thanks a lot for your thorough reply. Yes, calendula
salve is supposed to be one of the better herbel
remedies to facilitate the healing of cuts and burns,
and it certainly seemed to work pretty well for me.

You're right, the frenulum itself isn't actually
thicker, it's just that the scar tissue in the spot
where it tore has added sort of a little lumpy spot
right below the base of the glans which seems to sort
of push the lower foreskin forward a bit when I close
it. I'm reckoning that after frenuloplasty (which
I've made an appointment for - Feb. 1st), with the
frenulum sewn into the shaft, the foreskin length will
appear a little closer to how it used to be.

I didn't actually pack the frenulum in a bandage after
I tore it. It wasn't a big rip, and stopped bleeding
on it's own after a while. As far as I recall I just
kept wiping the blood off with toilet paper until it
stopped. Then I applied the thick and sticky
calendula salve and closed the foreskin, and that's
how it healed.

Now the spot where it ripped just reveals something
like a paper cut on close examination.

I'll let you know how the op turns out...

Thanks again,

Lucas
