Typical Fracture often cures by itself. It is caused in connection with either bleeding and/or a loud "crack". (emergency instructions)

"Atypical Penis Fracture" is often caused in the same way as typical fracture eg. by a sudden frontal pressure and sometimes with 'breaking' the erection, ... though this usually ocurrs without any bleeding or loud crack
.

This can at times result in year long nerve damage : pain or numbness and impotence.

This nerve trauma the subject of this site and forum ... also sprains or inflammations ... all these diminuitive descriptions do not make the problem any smaller.

Normal Bone fractures are easy to diagnose and will cure in a matter of weeks. Tennis elbow and sprains of ligaments can last painfully for years.
