That is truly ironic--I suppose all doctors however kooky fancy themselves expert in modifying male anatomy. In your shoes (or shorts) I'd go get somebody who can make a dorsal slit halfway to the corona and tell him/her? to have at it and damn the effects on appearance. Most guys I've known with d.s. don't look that monstrous, btw. I find it near-laughable (though I know you don't!) that something as simple as a foreskin problem can be botched by an "expert." I still feel that RDS (routine dorsal slit) at or near birth, whether medically justified or not, would spare boys (and later men, and their significant others) a tremendous amount of grief. What I've heard about Denmark, if true, is laudable, namely that during the first year of primary school doctors meet with boys, instruct them in penile hygiene, and correct any problems they find at that time. Result: practically no Danish men are circumcised, and none of them waste time on these stupid problems that occupy Brits (and Americans who are abandoning circumcision)to such a remarkable degree. The Anglo-Saxons (that's an amusing term!) may be great in law and literature, but in routine preventive medicine they're pitiful. And when you consider how many people need foreskin attention vs. heart transplants, they're making some absurd oversights. Keep smiling! Bob.

>Hello everyone,
>for those who want to read the lead up then its in origins/diary.html
>Note my site was to check kids before puberty - I was never originally concerned with incompetent treatment - I imagined the medical profession would understand the practicalities.
>Two months ago I received the icing on the cake: ... I`d been looking for a good sensible treatment for my ring (relative - only producing phimosis when erect) ......
>I asked for an oblique partial circumcision and the doctor said "so wie so" which means "naturally" and still then I explained in good enough German, that stretching was naturally impossible without full erections (and he knows anyway that my erections are half full and hurt) ... and the good doctor said "no no stretching´s very painful", and I confirmed with a laugh that I naturally didnt want any more pain and we talked about some men being advised to stretch after a partial circ. and he was very interested that even Dr, Cuckow advises this (cost &1,200), ----- and so he drew me a wonderfully thought out picture of an oblique cut on the inner foreskin, (and sometime I`ll have to scan it in ... because it really is a very good idea ... I had imagined a 30 degree cut and he developed this to a sort of < shape, with the outer skin folded over presenting the picture of a half circ. or an "overhang removal").
>Anyway the plan was fine and I was very happy because it was not an experiment, he`s performed the op. at least 200 times, ... he even gave me a prostaglandin jab so he could see the problem when (half) erect ... his thoroughness impressed me .... I felt in safe hands till a week after the op.
>The cut is about a centimeter away from and runs parrarel to and infront of the coronal ridge, and is thus in the worst possible place for pain and stretching ... (anyone know if this is called a loose circ.?) ... (hardly anything taken off the outer skin which folds over as planned ...). Flaccid cosmetically no problem;- erect at first the scar tickles quite pleasantly as it passes over coronal ridge but it soon starts getting sore, and a couple of "hard bits" in the scar are annoying.
>so isnt that crazy, ... even me the expert gets hoodwinked, .... I dont know if all the other 200 men didn`t complain, but I suspect the problem was that half way through the stitching he said "that wont fit", and started cutting off a bit more.
>OK I`m not going to turn into a fanatic anti circer, ... I still have the greatest respect for this operation when performed competently on those adults, or kids, who choose it, but there is no way I`m happy about the INVOLUNTARY removal of 10 sq. cms. of my sensitive inner foreskin .....
>I suppose in the USA I`d be taking the doctor to court ... the planned drawing is totally different to the cut, ... however so now what do I do? ... well I hear from doctors that I should be thankful I`ll have an infection free old age - I hear "if you cant leave it alone" for 6 weeks (when the scar should soften) then yes I can have some antispetic and anaesthetic cream - and naturally no-one believes me that the scar is too tight, the profis have to check this themselves (which means another prostaglandin injection to view the erection). I havent yet heard that circumcised or uncircd makes no difference, but expect that`ll come soon. :-)
>Have to find a surgeon to cut a few mini slits in the scar to make it longer, I refuse to have a re-circ.. - I also heard this suggestion and naturally the reason I objected must all be due to my basic psycho-sexual angst problems ... judge for yourself
>why do I get all these experiences ... ? ....
>ho hum
