betamethasone ????

i have congenital phimosis and do not want to have pieces of my penis chopped off. i have heard betamethasone 0.05% cream has had some good results for some people, and even in the concentration of 1.0% (full strength) any comments on this? my phimosis is to the extent that I can uncover 1/3 of the glans when flaccid and only just the meatus when erect, is the efficacy of the cream sufficient for phimosis of this extent? any reply would be greatly appreciated.
