Need advice about pinhole phimosis

Hi everyone,

I started developing phimosis a couple of years ago at around the age of 18-19, I'm 22 now, and over time it has gotten worse to the point where the ring is only a few millimetres in diameter. I've never had any infections but as of late it has started to worry me. I've read through a number of posts and the three solutions I can see are circumcision, which I'm not very keen on, a dorsal slit, which I'd still rather not have, and topical steroidal creams.

Obviously I would prefer to try other alternatives before surgery but I don't know if these creams would benefit such a severe case. The other concern I have is with doctors here in Australia. I get the feeling they are very quick to suggest circumcision and I would really like to avoid this sort of procedure.

I'm really unsure of what to do next. Any help would be appreciated.
