>Hi I am 19 and have a problem with a foreskin that is too tight. I am positive that when I was younger (14-15) I was able to fully retract my foreskin. Now if I try it simply won't get very far. I have regular sex and use a condom, so it doesn't really have much of a problem there. Unfortunatly it is getting torn on the inside of my foreskin and that is becomeing very painfuil. I am open to any options except circumcision.
You might try dorsal slit; the slit doesn't have to be very long, is minimally traumatic, heals quickly and eliminates problems of tight foreskin for good if properly done. Your doctor may urge circumcision instead--my brother's doctor told him d.s. is not "practical" whatever that means. Some don't like the look of a penis that has had a dorsal slit. I'm no judge of male beauty, but a penis with d.s. is in my opinion no uglier than any other guy's. Between World Wars I & II many boys born in the Orlando, FL area had this done at birth & those I knew grew up with no problems and have lived healthy sex lives. Sooo, first, find a doctor you can trust, & if he/she urges circumcision upon you, tell him/her it's YOUR penis & you want to try dorsal slit instead. And end your problem! A penis with dorsal slit is comfortable, supremely useful in sexual activity, and easy to keep clean. Good luck. RJK.
