17yr old, with phimosis

This is truly a great and extremely helpful site.

I'm 17yrs old I've also just learned today that I have phimosis. I must admit I hadn't known anything about phimosis, skinbridge, or frenulum breve for that matter until today and for a while I was becoming a bit insecure about what was wrong.


It's almost 2:00 here in NYC and I'm really having trouble absorbing all this new info, but I was wondering which would be better, attempting to stretch the foreskin (it's not a severe case of phimosis, imho) or to have a dorsal slit performed? Somehow after reading the info on this site and some others on the foreskin I really don't think I want to have a circumcision.

If anybody has any info, advice or experience on either stretching or a dorsal slit procedure or for that matter on circumcisions plz feel free to contact me at cypher1234-hotmail.com
