No, circ is not the only option. I'm 20 but had phimosis until I was 18. I used "Betamethasone .05%" to cure it. I applied it once per day to my foreskin for about 8 weeks and it was totally retractable by then while erect. Before that I couldnt even pull it back past the urethra (pee slit) while soft. My doctor told me I "had" to get circd but apparantly I didnt. Ask yours for a prescription for the creme. It really works.
