Thanks to anyone that's replied to this messsage thus far. You've all provided valuable insight!!

Well, I've taken Spyros and Paul's messages to heart and am definitely going with one or the other. I'm a little concerned about the appearance of the dorsal slit so I'm hoping for some more feedback on that.

I like the idea of the partial circ and am hoping to hear from guys with more stories like Paul's so I can be absolutely comfortable doing it. I just want to know if there's any cases out there where anyone wasn't satisfied with the result and had to be re-circed or if the partial worsened things. I'm not to keen on having to go under the knife twice.

>Looks as if Spyros has good advice, as does Paul. A short dorsal slit, just long enough to permit easy retraction whether flaccid or erect, is all most guys need for a totally satisfactory sex life and a healthy, easily-cleaned penis. There must be plenty of MDs in BC who are willing to do it, even though many might prefer to do a total circ. It's all well and good for somebody else to say "Don't cut it!", but if you have to live with a tight foreskin day in and day out & are faced with having to worry about stretching, etc., a conservative dorsal slit (sometimes called the "French cut" by irreverent US doctors) is a pretty good way to go, particularly if you're planning on getting married soon. Best wishes, RJK.
