As an answer to: Re: No improvement by using steroid cream written by R J Knight at 31 Jan 2001 19:18:32:

>Cus, if you can pull your foreskin all the way back behind the glans, and keep it that way (in spite of the pain) for as much as 5 minutes, then slip it forward, and then repeat the retraction, and continue to do this 5 or 6 times, the tightness should begin to yield to your persistent stretching. Don't be afraid of getting the foreskin stuck behind the glans: if this happens all you need do is GENTLY squeeze the glans between thumb & forefinger until the blood trapped within the glans is forced out of it, enabling the skin to slip forward again and re-cover the glans. Don't give up if you see no progress the first day or two, but if after 10 days there's no progress, it's tnme to go shoppiing for something more drastic, such as a dorsal slit or some similar remedial procedure. Good luck! RJK.

The problem is that I can not pull the foreskin behind the glans. I can hardly see the tip of it. If I try to pull it any further it is quite painfully. I had
this phimosis since birth and the tight skin is about 1/2 inch long(at the end of the penis). I was wondering if the cream treatment is a waste of time and maybe I need something more drastic.
