Betamethasone dosage

I was on hydrocortisone as prescribed by my urologist but my GP switched me over to beta cause he thought it would be more effective. My only worry is I've looked at the prescription and it's for .1% betamethasone and not the usual .05%. Should I be concerned? It seems kinda strong considering everything I've heard about successful steriod treatments is based .05% being prescribed. I am a little concerned about the side effect of the foresking thinning especially with a higher dosage so I'm wondering if I should go back and just ask for the .05% before getting the prescription filled. Has anyone out there used the .1% dosage? Any feedback will be much appreciated.
