As an answer to: Re: my problem and prescription written by UPDATE...my problem in more detail at 15 Mar 2001 22:39:03:
I can't personally think of a rationale for the Testosterone cream.
Testosterone or Oestrogen are expected to cause some growth of the
genitals, but not beyond the full, genetically programmed size.
Oestrogen is therefore used (with some reluctance) on little girls
when the labia stick together, and Testosterone might be used in
the same manner for boys with prepuce adhesions, the intent in
each case being to cause the skin to build up to full thickness
and spontaneously separate. It is not however particularly likely to cause lengthening. The
clue to this however is in many techniques used to stretch body
parts. These fall into two groups, the application of persistent
(that is, most of the time) gentle force, or the application of
substantial force (uncomfortable) frequently for periods of a
few minutes at a time. The former is quite effective, the latter may be substantially
helped by steroid creams which weaken (temporarily) the skin
collagen. It is certainly reasonable to try the Testosterone
ointment/ cream on this basis, but whatever you do, you will
also need to try and stretch the offending part for a few
minutes, as many times a day as practical. Do not expect to see
it stretch as you pull(!), but over a few weeks it should become
looser.Should you accidentally break it whilst doing this - just apply
pressure (clean tissue) to stop bleeding and desist for a few
days - this does happen naturally from time to time (just as it
is traditionally supposed to happen to girls) and I daresay it
achieves the effect wanted.
