Hi Gary,

If the skin "attachment" is restricting free retraction of foreskin then this needs cutting. Now is this a frenulum or could it be a skin bridge? is it beneath the glans? is it a sheet of skin - a ridge - or is it a chord??

I believe the frenulum only seldomly extends to the tip of the glans, humm and if it causes problems by cleaning then I guess its connected quite far forward on the inner foreskin.

I`d like to know if my guesses are correct, and what specific sexual effects such frenulum types have. Probably I will have a few years wild speculation before arriving at any answers, but if you`ve got any clues, they`d be welcome. If you`ve a webcam or feel like writing privately then please do so.

To make up your mind ... Surgery is the simplest most obvious treatment - frenuloplasty will be suggested by say 90% of the doctors you consult

>My foreskin will not pull all the way back. Do I need to have the frenelum cut? I would like to be able to clean myself better and enjoy sex better with my wife. I have stretched the skin so that it will pull all the way back when erect, but the skin attatching itself to the tip of the glands keeps it from pulling all the way back. Any suggestions or experiences in this matter would be very helpful in making up mymind on what to do. Thanks Gary
