Fused Foreskin

Hi Folks,
To follow up from my last post below, I just wanted to say that we managed to get my 9 year olds sons foreskin back enough last night to see what the problem is.
His foreskin is completely fused to his glans all the way round. I don't quite know what to do next and the doc yesterday just looked at it and seemed at a loss of what to say. He said to keep him stretching his skin in the bath and see how things go over the next few years. I'm not sure if this is going to make any difference as it's not as though it is just attached in some bits ...it is fused all the way round and we can't even see the corona, so I don't know whether its going to come away naturally at this age.
I suggested the steroid creams but he had never even heard of this treatment and didn't seem keen to try this. He is now pulling it back to pee when he goes to the bathroom and luckily it is fused JUST behind the hole so he can urinate ok....but he could never have a sexual relationship with it in this condition, which is really upsetting me. I know thats a few years away yet, but I'm just worrying about his future.
What do you all think. What are the chances of his foreskin coming away naturally with stretching.
