Then you are at substantial risk of nuisance Candida Albicans
infections.

Typical of chronic Candidiasis.

Probably correct, but it is also possible one has a higher load of
Candida in the vagina than the other.

Not a good choice for a diabetic. While using this fluorinated
steroid (technically, not cortisone, much more potent) cream will
settle inflammation, it makes the skin more susceptible to the fungus
of crutch rot (tinea) or posthitis/ balanitis (Candida), so you are
likely to end up fighting it all the time.

You should not be using that cream unless you are also using a
decent antifungal cream - Canesten or Daktarin - at the same time,
applied before the steroid on each occasion, and perhaps twice as
often as the steroid.
