So the canestan and celestone have worked wonders, and life is very much back to normal. The cuts have gone away, as has the hard skin. The only oddity was that as everything cleared, a large number of what I thought were blisters came up where the hard skin had been, but when I pricked them it was painful and they bled. As they looked a bit wartish I put wart-kill on them which dried them out, and they've been progressively disappearing over the last day or so. Any idea what this may be?
