It works, it doesn't hurt, I'd say it is just fine. What's the problem?

More particularly, what do you want to do with it? You can masturbate
with the foreskin forward, with it back, or a mixture.

When you are in a position to have intercourse, it should tend to push
back as you thrust in, and may re-cover as you pull out. If you are
concerned that it will slip forward too much in that situation, then
you might make a point of stretching it back as often as possible,
particularly when you have an erection, and as a point of convenience,
whenever you pee.

The important points are: there is no hurry, even if you plan to start
having intercourse in the near future. The most important lesson is that
intercourse is not about vigorous thrusting (as I am about to reply to the
post above), but of enjoying the contact. So, you do something, you see
how it goes, how (each of) you like it. Accordingly, you may wish to try
something different next.

If the fraenulum is tight, well, you try to stretch it with great patience
and in no hurry. There's no catastrophe if you don't. Just use it, and
enjoy it.
