This does not sound like true BXO, which by all accounts is not so
readily assuaged.It does however sound like common chronic posthitis(/ balanitis) which
is a manifestation of persistent candidiasis. The message here would
appear to be that if one preparation is not effective, another, even from
the same category, may be surprisingly so. Presuming that Econazole and
Miconazole are similarly effective, it is not surprising that the 2%
preparation worked where the 1% did not. But perhaps the Miconazole
truly is better, while the particular excipients in this brand may also make
it superior.In any case, an excellent recommendation.
