BETAMETHASONE OPTIMAL POTENCY?

Judging from the praise of it on this forum, I am gonna get a betamethasone prescription. I was just wondering what potency I should get: .5%, .1%, .05%?
Should i just get the .5% because it will work faster?
And should I get it in cream form, ointment form, or what?

Also, does anybody know of any internet sites where one can order betamethasone cream (i.e. they approve a prescription or else they don't require one)???
I don't want to wait weeks/months to make another doctor appt. I know I have a phimotic ring by looking at examples online, but the doctor I saw about it was an asshole who said steroid creams were worthless and that partial/full circ was the only thing to do.
