Foreskin and such

Hey,

As a seventeen year old curious about sex and the male anatomy I decided one day to try pulling back my foreskin. Quite frankly I don't believe I've ever seen my glans before so the experience was very new to me. I tried pulling the skin back but found that I could only get it to budge a few millimetres, exposing a tiny hole at the tip of my penis with a diameter of no more than half an inch. Seeing the redness of the glans gave me a bit of a scare since in porns I've watched, the glans of most of the male actors is the same colour as the shaft. I concluded that since the glans hasn't seen the light of day for its entire existence -- as far as I can remember -- it had no real need to develop any layer of protecting, leaving it a beet red. Does that make sense? Does to me. Anyhow, I gave up after several minutes, wincing at the possibility of a tear or something worse.

A few days and several beers later I found myself able to accept whatever horrors or surprises I might find by tackling the foreskin and getting it off the glans. This time I managed to get the foreskin down about 3/4 inch, exposing that much glans which at the time I thought was the whole deal. For a few days aftewards I'd pull down the foreskin any chance I got (in the shower, masturbating, lack of anything better to do) until I realized there was more glans! I got the foreskin back until I was certain that was as far as it could go; a bit more than an inch. Pleased with myself I let the foreskin hang back and put my boxers and pants back on, jumping any time my glans would so much as graze any material. There was a sense of pain anytime the glans touched but it was surpassed by a feeling of...not pleasure...tickling?

Further on in the day I became aroused and got an erection. Yay. So I thought...the area right under my glans hurt like Hell. There was a burning sensation on the right side of my penis near the glans that only subsided after a few minutes of going limp. Hoping to solve the problem I tried putting the foreskin back over the glans but to no avail. Some of it went but not all. It seemed as though my foreskin had 'doubled' over, allowing it to cover only a bit more than half the glans, even when flaccid. Finally, after a lot of rubbing and a bit of pain (God bless Tylenol) I was able to get the foreskin back over. I won the battle but I'm afraid I might lose the war.

I'm guessing the foreskin tightened again at the base of the glans and strangled the shaft. Would that explain the burning sensation? My penis feels fine now and I have no trouble urinating. I am, however, reluctant to pull back the foreskin again, fearing I may cause (more) damage. I'm not even sure if I hurt anything on my first endeavour. Is there any way to stretch the tip of the foreskin so that it will become gradually easier to pull back? Some sort of exercise I could try out with maybe the aid of an oil or cream? I can't seem to get the foreskin over the glans when I'm erect...no matter how hard I try. When I'm limp there's almost no difficulty.

To add...I have tiny, flesh-coloured bumps on the underside of my shaft that seem to come and go. What are they? They're far too small to be warts (unless genital warts differ from 'conventional' ones) and too...flesh-coloured..to be pimples (unless pimples can take on other colours aside from red and white). So what the heck are they!? Right now those are becoming a concern to me because one day I'll find myself in a situation with a girl who will freak out unless I can explain them. I could say speed bumps but I think I'll get less sex than laughs out of that one ;)

Any solutions or directions to a solution would be greatly appreciated! And don't say "Go see a doctor." unless you believe there is no way I can safely stretch my foreskin or remove the bumps. Yes yes...a few minutes of embarassment can be worth the cure but when it comes to gynaecologists, emotions play a far greater role than reason.
