Recently for the first time (18) I tried putting on a condom. The instructions said "If a foreskin is present, then retract it". Anyway, this opened a whole can of worms and eventually I've come to the conclusion that I have phimosis as whenever I have had an erection the foreskin has never retracted. If I try to pull it down whilst errect, it appears that the phimotic ring is right at the end of what I believe should be the inner foreskin, but this is in actual fact normally right at the very end of the penis in a small tubular extension of skin. This is I believe, BXO. However, in light of this I have discovered that it is possible for me (with some pain) to retract the foreskin manually before becoming erect. I guess the erection stretches the foreskin, and eventually this pain goes away. However, then I experience a sharp pain from the end of my penis, on the underside at the end of the tip, as if something is being stretched that shouldn't. Obviously I am going to get to a urologist ASAP, but from the above can anybody deduce what the problem is? I think it is going to be primary phimosis, as I had no idea that the foreskin should have ever retracted, and can recall no event in the past where it has done. Obviously discovering this is a bit of a shock, and I am slightly worried as to what the treatment will be? Is cirumcision likely to be the only option?
