If it truly was "just a few days" and it got tighter, then I would suspect the skin liked the cream just as much
as the betamethasone! Can I suggest you try some common Zinc and Castor Oil (nappy/ diaper cream) instead?You can use that as long as you like - it must be safe if they put it on babies!

Yes, it can damage the skin if used for too long. Please take very careful note of what the other chap said
though - the cream does not make the skin stretch - it only makes it easier for you to stretch it. If you aren't
actually deliberately stretching it as much as possible while using the cream, you're wasting your time.
