It is not that uncommon to have real hypersensitivity of the glans that has previously been not exposed to air, probably more so if this first "coming out" is delayed past the onset of puberty or with no operating checks at say 6Yrs.
At about 6 my parents pushed ny foreskin back during a bath and washed the glans. I dicdn't like the experience at all it hurt and the glans was tender. There was some witish stuff (smegma). Oddly it was not suggested to me thAT I should wash this and I don't particularly remember specifically washing it or retracting my foreskin until some sexual urges developed. At the time this awareness happened I read a book Entitled "Sexology and Recipes". The Dr author suggested that if the foreskin could be trained to remain retracted this would have benefits of being cleaner and more resistant to diseases. It only took a few days for this to be accomplished. I did have one occassion of a minor paraphimotic type swelling of the foreskin behind the glans which diminished on reversing the procedure- no problem.
I am strongly in favor of "going skinned back" for the uncircumcised. There are definite benefits, no disadvantages. THe only sensitivity loss that occurs is the loss of this hypersensitvity. The mature glans does well exposed to air. The corona, including all the way around becomes capable of doing a better job of creating good fulfilling sensations, as ther is some expansion of the exposed corona compared to one strapped down by skin.
I have most o my foreskin, so I was able to experiment with covering the glans to check for better sensitivity. Only change was it smelled worse, even when washed multi-daily and did actually develop heightened *pain response*.
My exhortation to the uncirced "wear it bare" if you can. I would say that taping, or even better placing several "o"rings on the skin rolled behind the corona will help this training process. Do discontinue at least temporarily if The skin swells (paraphimosis). If you have much of a tendency for that to happen it can generally be dealt with by alternating covered and uncovered, it probably best to resolve it thus.
>Much like many posts I have read here, I had never really clicked with the idea that i actually have a penis inside my foreskin until about 6months ago. (I'm 20)
>I started trying with HUGE pain to retract my flaccid foreskin in the shower, but the pain on the head of my penis was too great to hold it there very long.
>I did this only a few times becuase I was unsure if it was the right thing to do.
>About 12 hours a go I was masterbating and as I ejaculated the foreskin flicked back exposing the entire head of the penis. This made for a very 'dull-dead' pain afterwards and I woke up this morning with my foreskin not covering as much of the head when flaccid as normal. usually the entire penis is covered with the skin, now small tip is still out.
>Like other posts I have read, I'm really freakin out due to the fleshy, red, swollen look of the head and moreso the aching pain when my underwear, air, or anything touches it now.
>I have read you can do do damage by having it 'flick back' like that while errect, I am in zero pain though unless something touches the head of the penis, no pain otherwise.
>What should I do?
>Was what happened a good thing? or should I be rushing to the doctor?
>What exactly is the best way to loosen the skin and more importantly, lessen the sensitivity of the head!!!!
>ANy help greatly appreciated.
