thanks Ian, you don't know how reassuring that is. although you say the nocturnal erections don't do any real harm? they don't pull out stitches and open the wounds again? because after mine it is painful (2 stitches pulled already) and blood runs out of the dressing - which i have needed for this reason since the op on june 26. how soon were you able to do without a dressing? was there no continuous bleeding? is there any main method you can share on how to deal with the erections? - because mine seem to have a mind of their own. you say forget about ejaculating... didn't your balls swell up and need a release? - it is this increasing need that is making for worse nocturnal erections in my case. i asked my doctor about the medications to stop it but he said none of them really work, and those that people often use such as valium are just so you sleep through it and ignore the pain - but it is the effects erections will have that i am worried about, there is another drug which is a female hormone that reduces desire, but i am scared to take it and he didn't recommend it. if you can answer any of my questions i would really appreciate it. thanks - Rod.
