You should provide some background on your status prior to your circumcision and whether you had a full circumcision or a partial one. If you had a long foreskin that you rarely or never retracted due to phimosis, then your glans was probably still infantile in the sense that it was extremely sensitive and very much an "internal" skin.

Your circumcision is now forcing a change in your glans. From seing one person I know who got cut at age 30 , having never retracted his foreskin in his life, his glans first looked very dark and "bizarre". He said that the glans would often shed skin (a bit like after a sun burn.

But I saw a picture of his a couple of years later and his glans had gotten much lighter in colour.

I *suspect* that the existing layers of skin on the glans are going through a trauma, but as skin is a constantly renewing organ, newer layers of skin will replace the older ones that shed off and those new layers will grow acclimatised to the new glans environment.

But that takes patience.

Also, your inner foreskin which is probably reddish right now, will, over time, become lighter/pinker.
