I have posted 3 questions below relating to complications following an injury to the frenulum.
I would advise strongly against doing it yourself. I am told that it is a simple procedure that can be done in a doctors office. To avoid complications, have it done professionally.
From the research I have done it seems that a torn/cut frenulum usually does not cause problems. However, I have recently seen a specialist who said that occasionally complications arise from damage to the drainage of the lymph system in the penis. You don't want to do there.
