As an answer to: need hlp. sensitive glans written by Matthew at 24 Jul 2001 11:32:39:
Keeping the foreskin back to expose the glans for a period of time
will reduce sensitivity to manageable proportions by allowing the membrane that covers the glans to thicken up a bit. If the foreskin won't stay back of its own accord, you can keep it behind the glans using adhesive tape to anchor it in place. If the sensitivity is 'too much to touch' when the glans is bare, you can dust after-bath powder on it to insulate it against contact with clothing and your touch until it's easier to live with.
>hi, my name is Matt. I have what i perceive to be a very serious problem because until now I have not found a cure for it.I have an extra long and tight foreskin but thats not the problem because I have become accustomed to stretching it back. The problem is my glans. The head of my penis is so sensitive that when I touch it it hurts! I can press my finger on it but if I slide my finger along it kills. In the shower I pull my foreskin back and let the running water hit it and its fine, but when I touch it ,it hurts. This is a massive problem because at 24 I have not been able to have sex successfully yet. When a girl touches it I lose my erection and this is very embarrassing.I would like to know if there is anyone out there who can help me, Are there any creams or methods which I can use or do to make the head of my penis normal so anyone can fondle it.Ive seen a urologist and GP and that was an embarrassing waste of time. They said just put a condom on but I cant even manage that. They said leave the foreskin foward when you have sex, but what it rolls back or gets stuck ! YIPE ! Is there a type of specialist on this or phimosis or some type of doctor. Im in Sydney Long time sufferring. Thanks in advance for your help and time. I would greatly appreciate help. :)
