In the first place, one thing you DO NOT (!!) do is tell the receptionist "There's something wrong with my dick;" what you can do is calmly tell her/him that you'd like to discuss a personal problem with the doctor. The doctor might like more of a writeup than "personal problem" but you are the patient and you can show & tell as soon as you and the doc get together. Your personal feelings count for something, & you probably won't be the first patient to claim a personal problem. As to whether dermatologist or urologist, it may be a tossup but I'd suggest the dermatologist because it's probably a topical (skin or mucous membrane) problem rather than an internal, organic one such as the urologist can best handle. Hopefully it's something pretty minor (doesn't sound like herpes) that the doc can pull you out of in short order.
So, for advice: swallow any thoughts of embarrasment and get to a competent doctor ASAP; and don't take any guff off the receptionist! Good luck, RJK.

>Over the past 3 days or so, I've developed some sort of rash (have no idea what it is) on the head of my penis. It started out with some tiny tiny bumps, nothing drastic. Not herpes as far as I know. Anyway, it has since developed into the skin on the head and the foreskin that covers it, peeling off, not really flaking off because it's not dry dry. So because of this peeling I have to be very careful when I wash to not scrub too hard because it might leave some raw patches which tend to itch.
>Because I'm shy as hell about going to a doctor I've taken it upon myself to apply Vitamin E oil from capsule to the head and slipping the foreskin back over it and praying and worrying like heck it goes away. What do you guys think it is? I don't know that it's balantia. How do you tell the recepcionist "Um, there's something wrong with my dick"? What kind of doctor would you go to anyway, A urolgist or dermatologist?
>In anycase thanks, I just had to ask being that I'm uncircumsized.
