Dave, there's no need to let the thought of being circumcised scare hell out of you; after the circumcision heals you start feeling perfectly normal, and as far as being "mutilated," forget it! (Some of the 90 million Americans who are clipped consider it an enhancement rather than a mutilation.) Sex is great too, with orgasms that are marvellous! I say this from personal experience, not hearsay. Of course fewer men in the UK are circ'd than in the USA, so you might get the odd look in the men's room, but circumcision was a lot more common in England 50 years ago than now. A point in its favor is that once it's done the problem of tight foreskin is gone for good, no messing around with creams and stretching. I think the doctor was totally honest with you. , I'm 42 and over the past couple of years my forskin has tightened up to the point it cant be retracted even when flaccid and is causing a lot of discomfort.
