I'm sorry YOU have been hurt by the way your partner treated you after his circ Sunny (see below post by Sunny) but that statement is far from accurate (I'm not sure if you are joking or not). Unfortunatley, there are several conditions with the penis/foreskin which can and do require treatment. Unless the "right woman" is a surgeon, the problem may very well not go away. The men that come to this board can have a very embarrassing problem and it takes a whole lot of courage to get it resolved, either by surgery or non-surgical means. Unlike women there are not a lot of forums or open means of support and questions in this message board. Indeed, circumcisions and related issues are not generally spoken about at all with family, friends, or even in some cases - Doctors.
My point is this - if you have a frenulum that pulls at your gland causing excessive pain, or a foreskin that retracts and gets "stuck" behind it, then you have a medical condition, both with fancy medical names, and both that can be resolved. Unfortunately, the love of a good woman is not going to resolve the conditions. Also, there are other effects that come with these problems - sexual stunting (believe me - no man wants to have sex when their penis/foreskin feels like it can break/snap/tear/bleed at any second or under the slightest friction - what can they do but avoid it), then of course there's the emotional issues which come as part of the package, if you read this board throughout you'll see that many men have experienced one problem or another due to the physical and potential future relationships (or lack thereof) caused by these conditions. I for one have suffered for years, emotionally and physically, as I did not have the courage to get it resolved. If not for boards like this (and the site) I would never of had the courage to get the neccessary treatment to resolve the problems I had.
Besides trying to put across this point to you Sunny, I'm writing this for the men of the board who come here with concerns about their foreskin/penis (THAT is what this forum is for after all).
