BXO = Lichen Sclerosis.

My apologies - I got somewhat addled.

Lichen Sclerosis et Atrophicus is equivalent to BXO, and I meant to say it was part of the "Lichen group" of conditions (Lichen Simplex, Lichen Planus, Lichen Sclerosis, of which at least the latter two are very difficult to distinguish.

The distinctive feature is scarring, but in general, a biopsy is required for diagnosis.
