Actually, according to what's being currently bandied about, you are less likely to contract AIDS if you have phimosis because then your foreskin would not retract exposing the inner mucossa to the virus.
That said, AIDS and all STD's are contracted through exposure, whether you are circumcised or not. If a foreskin was a faxtor, the the UK and Continental Europe should be a leading area for AIDS transmission since the population is for the most part uncircumcised and the US should be a haven with the vast numbers of cut males. Sadly for the US, the reverse is true, the US leads the world in AIDS cases outside of Africa.
The watch word about sex these days, straight or gay, is extreme caution as one of the real dangers are the people who have it but don't know it.
