Circumcised yesterday(some questions, please)...

I was born with phimosis. I never realized that it ws a problem until the beginning of this year, after 18 (19 now) years... I always thought that I was the same as all non-cut men.

After finding out(figured it out by myself) I reluctantly searched for information and found out what I had to do. I called my GP and was sent to a urologist who took his bloody time to book me for the surgury (I waited 6 months).

I am not a virgin, and the phimosis had never bothered me(intercourse with a condom). The only position that would pose some trouble was with my lover on top. It didn't hinder urination, and I never noticed any bad smells if I was properly washed.

But still, because the fact that there was something unregular about my member(I'm sure you guys understand my feelings), I went through with the operation.

They used a general anesthetic and knocked me out, I woke up in a euphoric mood with a slight throbbing on my penis. I thought that I would soon need pain killers, but that was not the case. Even now, after all the effects of the drugs wore off, there is no pain.

However.

My glans, having never seen the light of day, is hyper-sensitive. It is not painful per-say but it certainly does not feel pleasant for it to be brushed against or touched. How long does it take for this to be bearable and how long after that does it take to feel "normal"? Is there anything that I could do to shorten the ammount of time it takes for this to stop bothering me?

Also, when I woke up this morning to urinate I noticed a large water-filled blister on my glans. When I changed the bandages around my penis, it was clear that it was not associated with the cut(it is about 1/4" away, not touching the cut part). I am assuming that this blister developed because my glans is not used to being handled, am I right? Should I contact my urologist and scream in fear?
