At face value, obviously, whichever method you find achieves your objective. However, it would seem that using TP would be preferable for the simple fact that after having a wipe, the TP gets the flush whilst the uriniferous towel you describe hangs about the loo for upwards of a week. You might as well give the tip of your foreskin a shake and quick milk and then put it back in your knickers to drip dry, at least there's a chance you'll send them to the wash a bit more often than the towel with a week's deposits.

The notion of trace amounts of urine retained in the foreskin, or in the folds of the labia (for females) isn't so much a question of needed medical hygiene as it is a question of what society says should be done. If you aren't interacting with others who are upset about where the last drop falls, then suit yourself. When I was a lad, my mother accepted the fact that there were going to be pee stains in knickers, from us boys and also my sisters, only diff was where the stains turned up, but then she always told us to put on fresh knickers and socks every day anyway.

So, out of consideration for others, I vote for the TP and use the towels and wash rags and face cloths for other things.
