Richard, there's no problem with grapefruit for breakfast, I eat it nearly every day--it has lots of Vitamin C in addition to the sugars--but I question whether diet is the most effective way to attack your problem. You should be able to get rid of the tight foreskin and candida (if that's what it is) at one fell swoop by having a dorsal slit done. This can be conservative and fairly short, having little effect on the appearance of your penis, if that's a concern. (By allowing air in to reach the glans it can serve to dry the area and make it less hospitable to yeasts et al.) Before you can do this, of course, you have to establish contact with a doctor who is sympathetic to your concerns and knows what he/she's doing. >No problem. However, I don't think grapefruit is going to help your situation either. Grapefruit is a fruit with sugars. You have to avoid anything with sugars that you possible can. Stick to eggs or some kind of unprocessed meat, or even better, nothing but fresh raw vegetables.

Evidentally the stomach is greatly taxed by trying to digest the two different types of food simultaneously, so doing one at a time allows it to become more efficient, thus leaving you with more energy.
