>Calm down, no need to get so overprotective. I don't have any problems with my foreskin nowadays. That's all stretched and taken care of. I was merely speculating that my problems in the past has been caused by having had antibiotic-induced candida, making my foreskin and meatus sore, hence making me unwilling to indulge in the usual adolescent stretching. I'm off to see my doctor next week to see if there's any pesky candida hanging about. And I had already thought to be tested for diabetes, and glandular fever. It might be that, given that my energy levels seem to fluctuate during the course of the day. And there's no harm in giving up sugary puddings for a while, I could lose some flab around the midriff anyway.
>Jim: I've been looking at candida diets on the Web, and most seem to say that having *some* fruit is OK. Clearly all fruit has some fructose in, but cutting out naturally-occurring sugars as well as processed ones - isn't that too much? Surely one does need fibre, vitamins & minerals too?

I'm glad to hear the problem is now under control. I was under the impression that there was some urgency to the matter. Having been a victim of candida, I do know what I'm talking about and it is quite irritating to have these know-it-alls come along to put their two cents worth in.

The total elimination of fruit from the diet would depend upon how badly the yeast has control and for how long. It can do some pretty nasty things to the body, so starvation is often necessary to get it do die back.

You get fiber and vitamins, including C, from raw vegetables. Cooking kills a lot of the vitamins, so it's important to eat them raw. Vegetables are by far the most important part of a diet. If you were to restrict yourself solely to raw vegetables, evidence shows that you could eliminate most diseases known to man. No, I'm not a vegetarian kook, and I don't find that type of diet very interesting, but the facts do speak very loudly and certainly anyone with a serious disease would be wise to investigate and take heed. I suspect that many of the problems we see here about inflamed foreskins could be attributed to diet.
