If you don't want to stretch 'n stretch 'n stretch, it would seem that the two most likely options you have are circumcision, which you consider extreme, and dorsal slit, which can be quite conservative, just long enough to free the tight foreskin, provided of course you have a cooperative physician who is willing to listen seriously to your wants. Spyros (voyager-stny.rr.com) has recent experience with dorsal slit and appears to be quite satisfied with the results. You may find him helpful if you contact him, or you may not agree with him.
