Of course you are refererring to me PaulB. So, here's some words of wisdom from myself:
Matt, as you've probably read on this forum and subsequently figured out: I'm all for getting circ'd when neccessary (i.e to stop suffering or for medical reasons) so to some people here that makes me a circ-radical (which I'm not).
You obviously don't need a circ which is good news. Personally I'd be inclined to keep the appointment with your doctor. There are numerous accounts online (from the site that hosts has some I believe)from men who have torn their frenulum through sex or masturbation. While it is not uncommon to tear there are instances wherein further complications such as repeat tearing and excessive blood loss. In most instances a bloke will just plug away, have it tear a few more times and it'll be more tolerable. Obviously there are ways to prevent any possible complications and getting the frenulum snipped is the safest and quickest way to resolve the problem. While stretching appears to be a viable solution the results are not always, when it does work, a permenant fix.
