gland on penis when erected is spongie

when my penis is erected the head is still spongie an the left side of the shafe at the top near the gland is sunk in like it don't feel all the way up with blood. Could you please help with this problem .i once had a small case of preyoines at the base back about a year ago. Im 43 yrs. old at times i have problems with my erections an was put on viarge ror a while which did not help.
