If the guy is in the prime of his sex life, and a non-surgical solution to his real problem may take months or more than a year, the playing/stretching of the foreskin may not be a waste of time, but spending so much time in the prime of your sex life without a fully functioning penis is.

Ask most adults who got circumcised well into adulthood due to problems and they will respond "I really regret not doing it sooner".

I have no problems suggesting stretching and creams for mild cases of phimosis or simple cases where the skin can retract but not easily. But this guy's phimosis seems to be quite severe. It is correct to suggest a possible non-surgical solution, but it should be suggested with the proper caveat that such techniques may not work on an extensive case of phimosis with long foreskin.

Circumcision is not the evil solution some say, as long as it is decided by the owner, and the doctor respects the style wanted by the owner. This seems to be exactly such a case where the owner presents his problem and we offer multiple solutions. If he chooses full or partial circumcision route, he will be better informed of his options/decision and can better judge for himself if he wants it or not.

I personally think this this person with a long and phimotic foreskin would greatly benefit from a partial circumcision. Based on my personal experience, a shorter foreskin is much better than a long one. And I went from a easily retractable foreskin to a shorter one. He would go from a non-functioning foreskin to a fully functioning shorter and more cosmetic one.
