But for a quick answer - most of my penis was covered for the first week with a bandage so I couldn't tell how the wound (for want of a better word) looked for most of the first week. When the dressing was removed it looked crap then too and was still swollen. I can tell you that there was plenty of swelling around the shaft and the penis was bruised and swollen - it looked pretty crap for awhile. It took a few weeks but the swelling went down and the bruising went away (sooner than the swelling).
