I'm not to sure who the "we" are that Jim is referring to. However, I would point out that it unfounded as to whether or not Jim participates himself in any research regarding this. So, the "we" may in fact be "finding" nothing. I would suggest that if you were to seriously consider this, that you ask you Doctor about any consequence about putting foreign objects into a region where they do no really belong. Especially, as if they work, over an extended period of time, they might lead to an undesirable appearance.
