Most things to do with that area are embarrassing. When growing up most teenagers (or younger) will ask questions about their bodies to their parents. They expect you to ask them things at some stage or another. Okay, it's understandable if you don't want to speak to you Mum about it, but perhaps you can speak to your Dad or another older male relative. Even if they personally don't have any experience with a similar problem, it's good for you to have someone to talk to and offer you support and encouragement.
As embarrassing at it might be, it is always worth considering seeing your Doctor so that he can reassure you as to what the possible problem might be.
