Frenuloplasty (z-plasty) same as frenulum division ?

Is the frenuloplasty (the horizontal z-plasty type) the same thing as what is called a 'division of the frenulum' ?
I appear to have frenulum breve and will be seeing a urologist in early feb. On the phone he responded with 'you'll need a frenulum division assuming you have a short frenulum' when I was arranging the Feb visit. Just wanted to make sure that what he is saying, and what I think it is, are the same thing ahead of time.

ps. I didn't realise I really had anything wrong with me until the last year -- I always had the condition but just 'lived with it' -- it has been an eye-opening experience to find info about all this online -- and congrats on this excellent forum.
