The words you use suggest a very modest bend. This sounds absolutely normal and the upward curve is normal - "straight as an arrow" is in fact quite abnormal in humans!

Honestly, women are not "funnel-shaped" by and large. While finding the entrance by random probing "animal-style" is one option, I have never considered it either vital or appropriate. Isn't it much nicer, and much more appropriate to being humans rather than animals, if it is the lady's amusement to guide it in? "Poke-in-the-dark", "no-touch" sex doesn't impress me somehow.
> yes it still a bit tight.
Jim has answered you well. When dealing with skin, it is supposed to be elastic (to allow for weight changes, in particular, as well as flexures) and you absolutely must subject it to some over-stretch, slightly further and for a month or two longer than the desired target, or it will tighten up. Do read our suggestions regarding stretching appliances. Not necessarily these Japanese style appliances that yes - they are actually sold for the purpose - but suitable smooth plastic tubes or canisters can be worn inside the foreskin opening to hold it stretched. Have a good read further down on this (or the next) page.

Funny that, so are most women if you touch their clitoris! I (always) suggest you approach it from their point of view and understand the need to ensure lubrication beforehand. If that is not for whatever reason practical, you need to use a "personal lubricant".
> I guess i've been clouded by the distoreted fantacies of pornography,
You've certainly hit the nail on the head there! Pornography is the enemy of good sex, and good relationships. It is extremely doubtful whether it has any educational or beneficial value whatsoever, and absolutely never where violence is depicted.
> wanting to posses a normal straight 8 inch penis,
Which illustrates just how bad pornography is. A penis that correctly measures 8 inches is a defect, by no means normal and in fact incompatible with normal sex. Women would and do hate to be assaulted with such a thing, unless the owner was extremely careful not to enter them deeply, even when excited - a tough call! In consequence, many of such freaks in the pornography industry can only maintain relationships with other males.
> hoping it would make me a fantastic lover.
As best as I can determine from your description, you are normal. And whether your penis is normal or not as I am sure you have heard before, has very little do do with how good a "lover" you might be.
