A crooked penis is normal for many men - unless you experience some pain when erect you are fine. Penises come in many shapes and sizes.
As to 8" being a defect, I take offense to that. It is like telling someone with a 4" penis that it is a defect. I have a large penis and don't care about anyone else's size. I would never say another penis is a 'defect' - regardless of size, shape, straight/crooked.
