>Do people consult a doctor first before they have their hair cut (I think I put a lot of trust in someone to muck about with a pair of sharp scissors so close to my head), or get their ears pierced, or get tattooed? The latter two are definitely medically inadvisable because they involve people piercing the skin, and have perfectly well-known adverse consequences.
>What is being advised here is on the contrary, extremely safe although we concede, it probably would not be so in your hands.
>Do young ladies consult a doctor before permitting their partners to rip their hymen open? Why not - surely that must be extremely dangerous?
>Even funnier, (young) women routinely shove plugs of rough wadding blindly up their vagina which is not sufficiently sensitive to determine if it is being injured in the process. Sometimes they forget it and leave it there for days and weeks on end, risking major infection (it's called "Toxic Shock Syndrome"). But I suppose you didn't know about that, did you?
>No! You are trying to tell us that inserting a smooth object carefully inside the foreskin opening under direct vision is dangerous!
>You make us laugh!

Even stranger and funnier, is this Richard, who wants peer-reviewed articles ont he subject. The funniest thing about it is that my own peers are doing it without him and finding huge success while doing it.
