Hi pg . your title mentions possibly a frenulum. If you have a short frenulum then stretching wont work ... at least its 3 years since I last answered any letters, but the extent of research then was that there were no successful cases.

So there might have been some minimal loosening up ... but this should develop far quicker, check the site on primary and secondary phimotic rings, you have almost certainly a secondary, ... and how long would you wish to struggle with this is up to you, paraphimosis is dangerous even if you know techniques of reducing it (hot water soap oil etc.)
Maybe its important you say the experience was painful. Could you have a tight frenulum as well as the phimotic ring?

if youve read the site you know the answer. Trying to find a surgeon who knows anything about minimal surgery is a tricky business. The best way or the sure way is that first you must be very sure of your own DIAGNOSIS. You have a great advantage the doctor only checks without erection, you can analyse the specific problems in the erect state and this (in a sane world) must surely give you the right to ask for appropriate treatment of the specific problem/problems
