Robin,

I’m off on my holidays for a week. I hope you can see through the mud slinging when making your decision as to whether or not you will hand over the keys of the forum to someone else. As I understand it, this forum was created to put across a third perspective. One that takes a step back from the moral and ethical issues and deals with circumstances and requirements as presented by the individual. As the only non-anti-circ contributor here (RJK was chased away several months ago), I am in the sole position of offering an alternative view to the often rabid anti-circ voice. If you put in an anti-circ Mod this board will become just another place to ramble on about the evils of circumcision and how people who consider surgical intervention are “perverts” or “fetishist”.

I have expressed my interest in moderating this forum and making it an open place that is free to help and discuss the problems that are presented here. I would allow all views to be represented from whatever perspective, but I would not accept the abusive bs from contributors and the time wasting of the trolls.

In saying all that. If you don’t want me to run the place, then I would suggest Ralesk. Sure, he’s an anti-circ guy, but he’s not one of the kooky ones. I am confident that he has integrity enough to run this place in an open fashion and would not allow the trollish behaviour of some individuals. I fear that if anyone else were to assume the role of moderator then this board will sadly become just another anti-circ board.
